KILLER METEORS: This pathetically amateurish wuxia/kung fu movie is a laughable, sleep-inducing mess. Headlined by a wooden Wang Yu, this moronic excuse for entertainment abounds with failed, flimsy ideas (one being Jackie Chan’s role as a villain) and no sense of its own preposterousness. This is a truly miserable affair, not least for the audience. Rating: 0 / 5 . KNOCKABOUT: With Sammo’s career orbiting the Earth, it was time for ‘Little Brother’ Yuen Biao to have his shot at stardom. Biao certainly didn’t waste the opportunity, with this hilarious flip-a-minute kung fu comedy. Successfully mirroring elements of Jackie Chan’s exceptional Seasonal Film fare, whilst adding old pals Leung Ka Yan and Lau Kar Wing into the mix, director Hung crafts a tale which marries the hard-hitting action expected with Yuen Biao’s naturally light and amiable presence.
